Senior Consultant/Data Analyst
Location Desired: Northern New Jersey
Location Option: Virtual Home Office Site with periodic travel to client sites and other locations.
Job Description: As a senior data analyst you will work closely with client and Bardess project team members and other subject matter experts in assessing/analyzing data quality and developing remediation plans for data improvement.
Other activities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze and assess data and current business processes, perform gap analyses and identify data quality issues within business processes
- Identify issues/challenges as a result of analysis and facilitate identification of alternatives and resolutions with client base
- Define and document results of analysis, gaps, resolutions and alternative process changes (Business and System Process Flows, Functional Requirements, Technical Requirements)
- Implement consistent processes for customer, product and/or installed base data
- Interface with all cross-functional organizations within the services and manufacturing divisions
- Interface and bridge the gap between business requirements and subsequent system enhancement requirements
- Establish positive relationships with customers (internal and external)
- Identify customer needs and work collaboratively to address requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (MBA a plus) with 5-7 years applicable business experience
- Experience assessing data quality and developing remediation plans
- Experience with analyzing current business processes, designing and defining new or reengineered business processes and related system impacts
- Data Modeling and Logical Database Design experience a plus
- Experience developing functional and technical requirements
- Strong communications (verbal and written) and decision-making skills required
- Moderate SQL experience required
- Experience with SAP or Siebel applications a plus
- Diplomatic problem solver
- Time management and organizational skills a must for multi-task environment

Experienced QlikView Developer -- Full-time staff position -- working with Fortune 100 client

Job Description
As a senior developer you will work closely with Bardess and Client project team members to develop cutting edge QlikView applications with interfaces to Oracle, Teradata or SAP databases, Business Objects universes and the like. Additionally, work with other subject matter experts in assessing/analyzing data quality and developing remediation plans for data improvement.
Other activities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze, assess and implement data and business processes, perform gap analysis and identify data quality issues within those business processes
- Organize disparate data sources into single data models
- Install and administer QlikView software including QlikView Server / Publisher
- Integrate 3rd party software such as GeoQlik into QlikView applications
- Design and develop QlikView mobile applications
- Establish positive relationships with customers (internal and external)
- Indentify customer needs and work collaboratively to address requirements
Requirements/Qualifications
Technical
- Significant experience developing QlikView applications a must
- Experience with implementations of QV Publisher and QV Server a plus
- 2-3 years database development experience using star schema a must
- Major development experience with ERP software such as SAP or Oracle, or CRM software such as Siebel preferred
- Experience with competitive cube-based BI environments such as Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion a plus
- Web-based application development using .net, Visual Basic, or Java environments a plus
- Strong SQL experience required
Business/Data Management Skills
- Experience with ETL tools assessing data quality and developing remediation plans
- Experience with analyzing, designing and defining new or re-engineered business processes and related system impacts
- Data Modeling and Logical Database Design experience a plus
- Experience developing functional and technical requirements
- Strong communications (verbal and written) and decision-making skills required
- Diplomatic problem solver
- Time management and organizational skills a must for multi-task environment

As a senior Project Manager/data analyst you will work closely with client and Bardess project team members and other subject matter experts in implementing a global business intelligence initiative for our client’s sales team. You will be assessing/analyzing data quality, driving the business intelligence initiatives and suggesting remediation initiatives as needed.
